Indications

Allevyn Gentle Border Lite is indicated for wound management by secondary intention on shallow, granulating wounds, chronic and acute low exuding wounds full and partial thickness wounds including:

• Skin tears
  
• Pressure ulcers
  
• Diabetic foot ulcers
  
• Leg ulcers
  
• Fungating wounds
  
• Infected wounds
  
• Malignant wounds
  
• Surgical wounds
  
• Donor sites
  
• First and second degree burns
  

Precautions

Do not use Allevyn Gentle Border Lite dressing with oxidizing agents such as hypochlorite solutions (e.g. EUSOL) or hydrogen peroxide, as these can breakdown the absorbent polyurethane component of the dressing. If reddening or sensitization occur discontinue use and consult a healthcare professional.
