Eakin Cohesive StomaWrap is a mouldable hydrocolloid ostomy seal designed for large, oval or irregularly shaped stomas. Its pre-cut opening and built-in slit allow the wrap to be positioned easily around the base of the stoma without needing to stretch a conventional barrier ring over it.

The soft material can be shaped and overlapped to create a close-fitting seal between the skin and the stoma appliance. This helps fill uneven areas, protect the surrounding skin from contact with stoma output and reduce the risk of leakage beneath the pouching system.

How to Use

1. Clean and dry the skin around the stoma thoroughly.
2. Remove the release paper from the StomaWrap.
3. Open the slit and position the wrap around the base of the stoma.
4. Overlap the ends where necessary to obtain a close fit.
5. Gently mould the material towards the stoma and into any creases or uneven areas.
6. Apply the ostomy pouch or skin barrier over the completed seal.

Eakin Cohesive StomaWrap is intended for people with a colostomy, ileostomy or urostomy who require an adaptable seal around a large, oval or irregularly shaped stoma. It may also be useful where a closed barrier ring is difficult to position.
